In Bumiayu, in the village of Pandansari Paguyangan, there is a tea plantation of the former Dutch colonizers that has been producing until now. This Kaligua tea has been pioneered since 1889. This tea plantation is located at the foot of Mount Slamet in Pandansari Paguyangan village, Brebes district, Central Java.
The Kaligua tea garden is located at 1,500 - 2,050 m above sea level and with temperatures between 8-28 Celsius. This tea garden is a garden that has very beautiful, green and natural scenery and is certainly free of pollution. Kaligua tea plantations can be reached in 30 minutes from the city of Bumiayu by using public transportation.

Before arriving at the plantation stop in the lake, the small lake extends on the hill 2 of the farmers' potato fields. From the Telaga Renjeng 3 km away is the Tee Kaligua plantation, after paying for the retrubusi at the gate. Parking of your vehicle is placed in a parking lot not far from the gate. After that you can enjoy the natural scenery around the tea plantation by circling a green tea garden with fresh and cool air.
After you finish walking in the tea garden don't miss to stop at the Japanese cave. This cave of Japanese heritage is said to be a hiding place for Japanese officers. Located under a hill of tea gardens, this Goa has a length of approximately 800 meters. visitors are only allowed to enter only about 300 meters. When crowded the lights in this hallway will be turned on. But in the quiet days it is turned off and must use a flashlight.
The highest peak of the Kaligua tea plantation is the peak of the sac with a height of 2,060 masl. This peak can be traveled on foot or using a wheel 4. For those who like off road, it is certainly very fun to explore the road that climbs uphill and winding. From the top of the hill, visitors can see the vast expanse of Kaliagua tea plantations combined with the Asil residents' villages on the west and the summit of Mount Selamet.
